The JCB trademark is most often associated with backhoe loaders, but this British company produces more than 250 models of earth-moving and road-building equipment. Including:

- crawler and wheel excavators,

- mini loaders and mini excavators,

- front and telescopic loaders,

- road rollers,

The abbreviation JCB stands for the initials of the company's founder, Joseph Cyril Bamford, who made his first car - a dump truck - in 1945, which was the beginning of the history of the family business of the Bamford family.

The first machine under the brand JCB was an excavator loader. In 1964, when the company entered the North American market, the number of backhoe loaders sold was more than 3,000.
