JLG Industries, Inc., which owns such trademarks as JLG, Lull and SkyTrak, was founded in 1969. In the early 70s, the world's first high-rise work platform was produced.

 

1973. The first scissor lift is launched on the market.

 

1977. JLG opens its first office in Europe (United Kingdom). In 1979, mass production of scissor lifts begins at a plant in Bedford, Pennsylvania.

 

1986 is the anniversary year. The first car lift - “ten thousand meters” with a cradle of its own production comes off the assembly line of the plant in the American city of McConnellsburg.

 

In 1988, the company patented the Extend-A-Reach feature, which provided users with greater freedom of action when choosing a platform location.

After 10 years, JLG celebrated its anniversary - the fifty-thousandth scissor lift JLG.

 

1999 year JLG has developed and started the production of a car lift with a fuel cell cradle. Gradall was acquired. As a result, platforms for high-altitude work and telescopic lifts appeared in the product range.

 

In 2000, the company's sales exceeded $ 1 billion. At the same time, the company presented an environmentally friendly electric lift 18.28 meters high.

 

2001. Hundred-thousandth scissor lift.

 

In 2002, a plant was opened in Belgium. Also, the production of a car lift with an arrow height of 41.15 meters was started.

 

2003. JLG acquires Lull and SkyTrak trademarks. A year later, Manlift was also joined, including Delta, Liftlux and Manlift.

 

2005. Alliance with Caterpillar Inc: JLG Industries begins manufacturing, selling and servicing Caterpillar brand telescopic lifts.

 

2006 JLG was acquired by Oshkosh Corporation.

 

The headquarters is located in McConnellsberg, Pennsylvania, USA.
